ABOUT
| I'm a photographer from Marin County, California. I work mainly in editorial, porltrait, food and other product photography (studio and location) and landscapes. Recently, I've become fasincated with combining multiple imags from varied sources to create new ones. You can see this work under the Mas Que Uno section of the porfolio. I also write, which I began doing as a newspaper journalist and continue now in projects large and small that engage me. My background is in journalism, and if it's happened in journalism, I've either done it, created it or been blamed for it -- everything from being a photographer and a reporter, to managing whole newsrooms, to building web sites, to sustaining horrible newspaper culture and then trying to atone for it. I even co-wrote a book about, News, Improved -- How American's Newsrooms are Learning to Change. -- Now, I've returned to basics -- writing and shooting. It feels good.
